Team jerseys will be provided at a later date. Please bring your own practice jersey and socks until then. If you need a jersey or any equipment/advice, let me know. I'm happy to help.
You will find the full list of registered U7 players at this link. If you don't see your player's name, simply reach out to myself or Alicia Payne at
registrar@chebuctominorhockey.com and we can assist.
If you would like to volunteer, on or off the ice, please reply to this email and let me know how you feel you could best help us make U7 even better. We appreciate all our volunteers very much. You can find a step by step guide to all volunteer certification information by clicking the link below or visiting Chebucto's website under the Policies, Risk and Certifications tab.

Below is a separate link to the "Respect in Sport" course. This is not just for volunteers. The information in this online course is meant to help us all to create a safe and fun environment for our players to thrive. Hockey Nova Scotia requires at least one parent per household complete the course for their player to be eligible to be on the ice.

In Chebucto, we all contribute at different capacities. We could not do this without each of you!! Whether it's driving your child to the rink or helping to organize and run events. Coaching on the ice or cheering from the stands, we all play an integral part in making hockey a fun, healthy environment where kids feel safe to make mistakes and grow as players, people, teammates and friends.
Further details and instructions will be sent to all coaches/volunteers in a separate email as the season approaches.
Lastly, we will have our Junior Coaches Leadership Program in full swing again this year! Kids and coaches will have extra support on the ice during practices as we welcome some of our finest U13 players to join in the process. Together we will build a culture of caring for these young stars to shine bright and learn invaluable life skills in a positive and healthy environment while enjoying the game we all love.
If you haven't already, please go to the Chebucto website and click subscribe at the bottom of the home page, just above "Leagues". This will add you to the mailing list so you can receive the latest updates and information.
If you have any questions, concerns or insights you like to share with me, I am always willing to speak with you, to help and accommodate any way I can. I look forward to serving you as VP of U7 for another great season!!
Let's Go Chebucto!
Yours in hockey,
Jay McKenzie
