Tom Duffey 2022 Summer Hockey Schools

Tom Duffey Hockey Schools are pleased to annouce the addition of a new school this coming summer in Bedford at the BMO Center. It will run from July 25-29 and will feature a Defenceman School for all ages as well as a Forward school for U9/U11 and a Forward School for U13/15 for full details visit www.tomduffeyhockey.com and to register call us at 902 443-3414. Hockey Halifax Summit

The Society for Equity in Sport is inviting members of the hockey community to take part in their Halifax Hockey Summit later this month.

 

The event takes place from June 24-25 at the Prince George Hotel in Halifax and is designed for players, parents, coaches, administrators, and officials. Speakers include former Montreal Canadiens forward Georges Laraque, NHL on TNT analyst and former NHLer Anson Carter, the Buffalo Beauts’ Mikyla Grant-Mentis, and national women’s team Olympic gold medalist Jill Saulnier.

 

Trailblazer Bill Riley, the first African Nova Scotian to play in the NHL, will also be speaking at the event and the two Hockey Nova Scotia awards honouring his contributions to the game will be presented.

Museum of Industry Summer HOCKEY Exhibits

The Museum of Industry is hosting two summer exhibits, HOCKEY, a travelling exhibit developed by the Canadian Museum of History and Hockey Whose Game Is It? Stories of Nova Scotia’s diverse hockey history Developed by the Museum of Industry.

Big news Chebucto coaches, there is a coaching conference taking place May 26-May 28 open to Chebucto coaches they have some great presenters and its free. A great opportunity to sharpen your coaching skills and knowledge share with coaches from other associations as well.
