A notice to our managers, coaches and families.

Please be aware that Minor Hockey is not immune to the many scams that are out there these days.

Please always be wary of any communications requesting money, etc., that you were not expecting.  If something seems off always ask questions.

Most recently scammers have been imitating organizations and attempting to sign them up for tournaments and taking payment.  These tournaments do not exist or they do but are full or registration is not opened.

This happened to a local association who thought they were paying for our Kyle Henneberry tournament that is not yet opened.

It's heartbreaking that we have to make posts like these, but we always need to be aware.
